A New Wheelchair Bus for The Ivy Meadows!

The Friends of Ivy Meadows have been working hard to raise money for a new wheelchair accessible bus for the residents of The Ivy Meadows. I have been recently informed that they have reached their goal and ordered a new wheelchair bus!
Great job! We have always been impressed with this fine group of individuals that work so hard for our residents. A big hug to all and all who have dontated to this wonderful group.

The programs first class has graduated as of October 2009, but not without it challenges and extraordinary level of cooperation. 2nd annual Treat or Treat

The Ivy Meadows hosted their 2nd annual Treat or Treat Halloween night on October 28. The residents, staff, families, children had a wonderful time and look forward to next year already.

H1N1 Update from our Director of Care, Florence Simmons

As you are aware the province is the midst of a flu pandemic. This can be a very stressful event. At the Ivy Meadows we are requesting all staff and visitors experiencing any flu symptoms to not visit. I also know that this can cause much stress to families and loved ones. Please do not hesitate to call and the staff will be more then willing to assist your loved one to the phone or relay any messages for you. If you do visit, we encourage good hand washing to prevent and protect from the flu.
